The Anastasia gown is a statement dress made of a beautiful Cybele Lace. It features a v-neck, open back and show-stopping train. One of my favourite features about the dress is the scalloping with eyelash lace edging.
Elle loved the lace and design of the Anastasia gown, but was concerned that the long sleeves might be a bit too much in the heat. So during her fittings, my seamstress Linda worked with her to created a shorter sleeve. Linda shortened the sleeves finishing them off with a scalloped edge to reflect the open back and train. The end result is simply stunning.
It is important to be mindful of the location of your wedding when you’re choosing your wedding dress. If you’re flying, you will need to take your dress as hand luggage (there would be nothing worse than checking your dress in and it ending up getting lost – eeek!), so it will need to travel easily. If you’re getting married somewhere hot, it’s advisable that you opt for something lightweight.
Thank you so much to Elle for letting me share her wedding photos with you, it was tough to choose just a few! I think you’ll agree that it was a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple!
