As soon as Charlotte tried Juno by Wtoo, she knew it was the wedding dress for her, and with the addition of some gorgeous lace flowers and a belt, we made Charlotte’s dress totally unique.
We caught up with Charlotte after her wedding to find out more about her big day, including how she knew Juno by Wtoo was ‘the one’, her favourite wedding memories and any advice she has for brides who are planning their weddings.
What were you looking for in a wedding dress?
“I knew that I wanted to have a dress I felt comfortable in; I didn’t want to be hitching it up at the bust all the time or be uncomfortable when sat down in it. I also knew that I wanted a less traditional-looking lace wedding dress that wasn’t too blingy.
“After looking at a variety of bridal boutiques online, I knew that Bridal Indulgence’s wedding dresses were similar to what I was after, so it was the first bridal boutique I went to.”

“On arrival, I showed Kerri some pictures of wedding dresses that I’d saved on Pinterest – they were all different styles but most of them were tight with a slight flare. After seeing the photos, Kerri asked me to try on a tight dress to see whether I liked it and this helped me make a decision on the style that I wanted.
“I soon realised that I wanted something with more freedom, especially as I love to dance and knew that I’d be on the dance floor for most of the night!
“As there isn’t a mirror in the changing room, I focused on the initial reaction of my family which was really positive, then I looked in the mirror and felt so special.”
Did you have any other bridal appointments?
“I booked in to go to another boutique immediately after my first Bridal Indulgence appointment, but I just kept on thinking back to Juno by Wtoo, so I decided to go back to Bridal Indulgence to try the dress on in two colours: ivory and latte (which Kerri got delivered especially for me).
“Choosing between the two colours was a really tricky decision as I loved both colours. Kerri helped my decision when she asked me a vital question: “Which dress did I feel more like a bride in?”. After this question, I thought, “when else can I wear an ivory dress?” Never! It’s bridal!”
How was your Bridal Indulgence experience?
“Kerri was very accommodating and friendly, she was always at the end of the phone and ready to answer any questions I had. Kerri also found accessories for the dress, adding a belt and extra lace flowers to the back.”

What accessories did you choose?
“I wore the Natalie hand-crafted flowers by Lila-Lila Accessories in my hair, which complimented the floral lace in the dress.
“I wore a pair of earrings from Ivory and Co and a bracelet from this brand too. These went perfectly with my engagement ring which is from the Ivory & Co Gold Collection. My shoes were Rainbow Club’s Harlow T-Bar Stiletto Heeled Sandals from John Lewis. They had padded soles and were so comfortable!”
“We knew that we wanted a cupcake wedding cake which she did beautifully, and they tasted delicious – our guests couldn’t get enough! We went for lemon and vanilla flavours with a larger lemon cake on the top.”
Who took these gorgeous photos?
“Rob at Shooting Hip. We looked at a few local photographers because we wanted our wedding suppliers to be as local as possible. We chose Rob because we loved his style – he’s super talented!”
Where did you get your hair/makeup done?
“A friend of a friend – Sophie J Dutta – is a makeup artist for Holby City and so she did my makeup and hair as well as my mum’s and sisters.”
What did your bridesmaids wear?
What was the most memorable moment of your big day?
“That’s a really hard one! I know it sounds cliché, but the entire day was pure happiness and love like I’ve never experienced before. Donald and I couldn’t stop looking at each other and smiling, all our guests got along really well.
“The list is endless, but my most memorable moments have to be: when Donald was waiting for me at the end of the aisle; all of the speeches; when my mum cried at the first sight of me, and all the times Donald told me how beautiful I looked.”
What advice do you have for brides who are just about to have their weddings?
“Go with local suppliers as they may know the venue, owners etc. which makes the organising easier. All of our suppliers knew Bury Court Barn so it made it easier for us to organise and plan especially because they already knew the owner.
“Also, know your style by looking in a few magazines, but don’t go overshop the dress as it could get even more confusing and overwhelming.”
