Charlotte met her husband Pedro when they were at school and this lovely couple have been together since they were 15!
With the Algarve for her backdrop, Bridal Indulgence bride Charlotte planned the most stunning destination wedding in Portugal. We caught up with our bride to find out more.
What wedding dress did you choose?
I chose to wear Lineisy by Wtoo by Watters and had detachable off-the-shoulder sleeves added. I fell in love with the dress as soon as I saw it. I loved the simplicity of it but also how intricate and different the lace detailing was.
I felt amazing as soon as I put the dress on, it was so comfortable it felt like it was made for me. I felt so confident on my wedding day and I was so excited to show everyone.
It’s so important that brides feel as gorgeous as Charlotte did in her wedding dress. Check out our guide to finding the perfect wedding dress to suit your body shape.
How did you accessorise Lineisy by Wtoo?
I accessorised Lineisy by Wtoo with a necklace from Astrid & Miyu, which was a wedding gift from my husband. I also wore a bracelet that was my bridesmaid gave me when I was her maid of honour.
What was your experience shopping at Bridal Indulgence?
Bridal Indulgence was my favourite bridal boutique out of all of the ones I went to. Kerri made me feel at ease straight away and really listened to what I wanted. I recommend Bridal Indulgence to everyone I know getting married now!

Tell us more about your wedding day
Our wedding was in Loulé which is in the Algarve, Portugal.
The venue is called Os Agostos which was set up in the hills surrounded by beautiful orange trees. There wasn’t a particular theme but I wanted my décor to be very neutral and elegant.
The venue had a rustic feel to it anyway because of the way it’s decorated.

Who was your wedding photographer?
Agata Mendes Photography. She was one of the clients our wedding planners recommended. We looked at her work on Instagram and liked her pictures and how she edited them.
What flowers did you have?
I wanted quicksand roses, I love the colour and that’s what I based my colour theme around. Apart from that, I wanted white flowers and greenery only to keep with the neutral and classic theme.
Love the neutral look? Bridal Indulgence bride Jayne balanced her colour scheme perfectly to create a really natural look.
Tell us about your cake
We had a three-tier semi-naked cake, decorated with the same quicksand roses and greenery.
For the sponge flavours, we went for chocolate with Nutella buttercream, lemon with lemon curd buttercream and vanilla with forest fruits. It was the most amazing cake we’ve ever tasted!
Tell us about your bridesmaids
I had three bridesmaids and they were in the same nude-coloured TFNC dresses so that they matched the roses.
What was your most memorable moment of your big day?
How happy everyone was. Being abroad made the atmosphere so relaxed and everyone had a great time.
Finally, your wedding advice for brides who are just about to get married?
Try not to be nervous or worry about the minor details because you won’t even notice them on the day.
Also, enjoy the build-up. Enjoy everything, from getting ready to walking down the aisle because it’s the only time you’re going to do it. Just enjoy every second of the day because as everyone says, the day goes by so fast!
