Myself and Victoria from Tilly Mint Weddings thought it would be a great idea to team up and put on an event for brides-to-be.
Our dress styles are very different with Tilly Mint Weddings being perfect for brides wanting a bit of glamour on their wedding day and Bridal Indulgence bringing brides something a little bit different with a more bohemian style.
We wanted to bring brides-to-be an experience that was beautiful and inspirational and we felt that the Four Seasons Hotel would be the perfect venue to do this. Set in the countryside, this historic estate features beautiful rooms and breathtaking views. It is the perfect setting for a wedding.
The Four Seasons was dressed to impress! Blomster Designs Flowers created some beautiful centrepiece and Twilight Trees provided the most stunning blossom trees. Brides-to-be were greeted with a glass of prosecco and canapes. They then sat down to watch the catwalk show featuring dresses from Bridal Indulgence and Tilly Mint with live music by Stormont London. Jen and the team from Lolo & Co. did the hair and makeup for our models, showcasing some different looks to suit the different dresses. Blomster Designs Flowers also provided the gorgeous bouquets and flowers crowns for the catwalk.
Following the catwalk show, the suppliers hit the catwalk to offer their advice on all things wedding related. Victoria and I talked about things that you need to consider when going wedding dress shopping (a future blog post!), with the main bit of advice being to do your research!
After everyone had given their advice and any questions were answered, the brides-to-be sat down to enjoy their Four Seasons afternoon tea whilst all suppliers hot seated around the room to answer any further questions anyone had and to talk about all things wedding related. This was a great opportunity to get to know some lovely ladies and hear all about their wedding and plans.
Everyone left with a luxury goodie bag which included a £50 voucher to spend at Bridal Indulgence or Tilly Mint Weddings and a pair of award winning briefs by Chantelle Lingerie (which are perfect for wearing under your wedding dress and available to purchase at Bridal Indulgence).
This was a fantastic event and feedback from brides-to-be was that they loved how experiential it was. It gave them lots of ideas and lots of information, which was exactly what we wanted to achieve! It was also a wonderful opportunity to work with some fantastic suppliers who all work to a very high standard. The Four Seasons Hotel wedding coordinator Emma Westacott is an absolute dream to work with! She thinks about every little detail, so if you’re currently looking at wedding venues then I would highly recommend getting in touch with Emma.
Kate from Kate Nielen Photography was at the event, capturing all the day for us. Below are some more pictures from the event, but if you’d like to see even more, then search #FSBridetoTea on Instagram. A full list of all the suppliers involved in Bride-to-be for Afternoon Tea are at the end of this post, so be sure to check them out.
Following the success of this event, we will be planning another one, so keep an eye out for it!
A big thank you to all the suppliers who were involved in making this such a wonderful event:
