The story behind Alena Leena

Alena Leena Bridal was founded by head designer Alyona Kostyk. The brand works between its creative studio in Cape Town and specialist production team in Ukraine, creating wedding dresses with a strong sense of romance, shape and individuality.

Flowers are central to the Alena Leena world. Every gown is named after a flower, with its form, character and symbolism helping to influence the finished design. This can be seen in the texture of the fabrics, the construction of a bodice and the movement of each skirt.

The result is bridalwear that feels feminine and expressive, with a distinctive point of view. Alena Leena combines softness with structure, allowing every dress to make an impact without feeling overworked.

Aster offers a fresh take on all-over Chantilly lace, while Bryony uses carefully placed lace to define the figure. Cassia has the drama of a tulle skirt and dropped-waist corset, while Lotus is clean and sculptural in crisp satin.
