Surrounded by vineyard views, Issy and Ben looked completely at home in the setting they had fallen in love with for their wedding reception.
A Bumble Love Story and a Dorset Proposal
Like many modern love stories, Issy and Ben's began with a swipe on Bumble, proof that sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them.
A few years later, Ben whisked Issy away for a long weekend in Dorset, a place already close to their hearts, as it had been one of their very first holiday destinations together.
Staying in a beautiful shepherd's hut overlooking a tranquil lake, the pair spent their days exploring the coastline and soaking up the sea air. Then, during an evening stroll around the lake, Ben got down on one knee.
"It was a complete surprise, but the proposal was perfect," says Issy. "Afterwards, we sat in our shepherd's hut with the log burner on, drinking wine and enjoying a charcuterie board. It was so special."

Ready for the aisle, Issy held her bouquet and took in the final moments before marrying Ben at Hambleden Church.

A Romantic Floral Wedding Dress with Sleeves
From the outset, Issy knew she wanted a wedding dress with sleeves, which is why the Watters Guinevere gown had caught her eye. When Issy tried it on, she knew she’d found the one.
"I just felt beautiful in it, and it was everything I had wanted for my wedding dress."
With its romantic floral detail, soft statement sleeves and beautifully feminine feel, Guinevere was the perfect choice for Issy’s vineyard wedding style. It had all the romance she was looking for, while still feeling fresh, modern and full of personality.

"My favourite part was my mum's reaction when I found the one."
How Issy Styled Her Floral Bridal Look
With so much detail on the dress, Issy opted to keep her accessories beautifully understated and incredibly sentimental. She wore a simple, elegant veil lovingly handmade by Ben's granny, alongside a pearl necklace that had been passed down through her family. Delicate gold and pearl earrings completed her bridal look perfectly.

A Church Ceremony at Hambleden Church
Issy and Ben chose the beautiful Hambleden Church for their ceremony, just a stone's throw from where they live.
"We fell in love with Hambleden Church. Then for our reception we chose Old Luxters Barn at the Chiltern Valley Winery. We loved that it was set on a vineyard, as well as the large barn, stretch marquee and courtyard."
The morning of the wedding began with Issy getting ready with her bridesmaids and mum in "the cutest Airbnb" complete with a pink kitchen that perfectly matched their pink bouquets and bridesmaid dresses.
Meanwhile, Ben got ready at home with his groomsmen.
How did Issy feel in those precious moments before the ceremony?
"Nervous but so excited. I had never felt more beautiful."
She walked down the aisle to Arioso by Bach surrounded by breathtaking florals created by florist Kirsty.
"Our florist absolutely blew all expectations out of the water. The photos don't even do it justice."
One of the most emotional moments came during the signing of the register, when Ben's cousin Ellen performed May It Be.
"It completely blew us away."
Although there was a little rain – despite burying a sausage the night before for good weather! – it didn't dampen the celebrations in the slightest.
"We honestly didn't care because we were having the best day of our lives."

The reception at Old Luxters Barn was filled with colour and atmosphere, with pink and orange décor, florals, candles and fairy lights creating a warm and joyful setting. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés alongside live guitar music, making it a relaxed and memorable celebration.
It was the perfect setting for Issy’s romantic bridal style. The vineyard surroundings, colourful florals and warm barn atmosphere all worked beautifully with her floral Watters gown.
The wedding breakfast was a huge hit, particularly the crème brûlée dessert, and Ben's mum created their beautiful wedding cake. But perhaps one of the most unforgettable moments was walking into their reception.
"We hadn't seen the décor or florals until that moment. We walked into Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and everyone was spinning their napkins in the air and dancing!"
The celebrations continued with their first dance to This Old Heart of Mine, performed by their incredible wedding band.
"We've seen them perform so many times before, so having them play at our wedding was really special."

Issy’s Advice for Brides Starting Their Wedding Dress Search
When asked what advice she'd give to other brides searching for their dress, Issy's answer is beautifully simple:
"Just have fun with it and enjoy the experience."
